An Hero.

AMY BLUE:

We are hard at work on the new album, which is called either A Hero For Our Time, or A Hero Of Our Time. We don’t know which as Simon hasn’t corrected us (he chose the title.)

Nine songs were recorded in January of this year (I know, I know, it’s July already), with a further four…five…six… recorded this week. The songs were written between 2009-today, so there are things that were written around or before the material from On The Pleasure. There are more POP TUNES on this one as well. It’s the car radio Amy Blue album. Or The One Your Mum Will Like.

Then on album three it’s back to business. 2 hours of drones and screaming children.

Be ready for us.

FALL/NEW RELEASES

The late release of TRYCYCLIC LOOPER’s debut EP will be happening very soon. We’re just finishing up the artwork for it.

AMY BLUE’s ‘On The Pleasure of Hating’ is still in the recording stages after they had to scrap a recording session due to buggered microphones and swearing. If you need an idea what it’s going to sound like, it’s a mash up of the first EP’s heavy fuzz + the dark bits from ‘TF&TF’, and flanger and tremolo pedals. Possible next release will be around early November.

AMY BLUE’s second album, ‘A Hero For Our Time’ is nearing completion, and will feature pop hits aplenty. Expect that sometime early in 2011.

A new EVOL-I EP has been touted by the man himself. This may appear on last.fm at any time.
